It was marketed as a 3D gaming device, not a virtual reality headset. I believe VR requires at least 3 degrees of freedom (Head tracking). It was essentially a Viewmaster for gaming.

Reddit is pure ass. The site's layout fosters a revolving door of new users asking the same questions over and over again, yet the prevailing reddit culture is to shit on new people asking questions that have already been answered. When I read or hear the term, "Circle Jerk" Reddit comes to mind.
