I'll go first. Like two months ago I was in the gym at my apartment and a cute, slim chocolate shawty I had only ever seen once asked if I was using a squat rack.

I'm like nah, I'm over here using this one, go head.


She does her thing then leaves the gym. I finish up and leave, I drop my bag off then walk to my building with my headphones on.

She was kicking it by the pool with some friends, she had like a Twisted Tea in her hand. She sees me and run up to me so I stop and talk to her. She says she seen me in the gym, I obviously know what I'm doing, and wanted to know if I would spot her on Leg Days so she could go heavy.

I'm like bet money , even though I'm thinking you shouldn't need a spotter for Leg Days to go heavy, I do that shit all the time and just hope I don't die and end up training in Other World with King Kai n'dem.

She asks me what time I be going to the gym and I told her it varies, my schedule is never the same day-to-day. She tries to give me her number so she can hit me up, but I'm like "how can you hit me up if you give me your number?"

Instead of getting the digits she was offering, I gave her my name and number and dipped inside.

She never did hit me up and I haven't seen her in the gym since. Did I goof, brehs?

It wasn’t super obvious to me since brawds have asked me to do the same thing before and then not hit me for the workout shit.


Why I’m tripping is why wait to you out the gym to ask me some gym shit if that’s what time you was really on? Coulda just stepped to me in between sets.
