Has Anyone Here Ever Used Linux?

I decided to give it a try during Covid after people on Reddit were saying it was better than Windows and MacOS (It's not). Ended up using it exclusively for like 3 years but eventually got tired of the broken updates and the EA anti-cheat that wouldn't let me play Madden 24. Out of all the ones I've tried I'd say Fedora KDE was the best and most usable. It's overall great for servers, coding, and reviving old laptops but I wouldn't use it outside of that.

I’ve used Ubuntu and Kali Linux in virtual box to test out command line and some of the hacking tools. That’s about it, not for an extended amount of time.

I've used Ubuntu for the last 6 years. My only real complaint is that it usually takes me 2-3 days to get it installed. From this, I've learned to only install the previous version since most of the major bugs will have been fixed and they've made it compatible with most popular computers on the market.

I run a proxmox cluster with 30+ linux VMs/LXCs. I use Windows on my everyday machine tho.

yeah but I haven't used it for a desktop OS in over 7 years. I like KDE and xfce desktop environments.

Almost all year, yeah. But I recently switched back to Windows 11 because I realized I don't use this desktop enough to warrant needing Linux.
