It just blows my mind she had this the entire time and only recently decided to tell me.
tell tale heart ass bish. her coochie was probably contracting like a heart beat she thought god was trying to tell her something. come to find out she got a UTI and the doctor (her mom) said isn't there someone you should talk to

Okay yeah now u gotta have her committed on some
:umad: aside from being a danger to herself and others in the traditional sense this chick a walking public health crisis. All we need is for her to manifest a butch personality
:lupe:

Eta make sure u have them hold her ass in quarantine as well. Make sure the unit they assign her to has a registry and staff keep an eye on her. Dont need her goofy ass wandering the halls licking all the doorknobs.

HSV-1 and she says it's not even a big deal everyone pretty much has it. I feel violated AF. She took super long to tell me.
She could have told me 3 years ago she had it.

Yes it's the same bitch I was dealing with a few days ago.
You have no idea when you contracted it nor do you know from whom. You most likely already had it and got stressed enough to have an outbreak.

You don't think it's alarming someone has herpes and does not tell their partner?

I get tested for it frequently you have to request for it.
Like 80% of adult humans have HSV-1, a smaller percentage actually ever show symptoms, and a smaller percentage of that has regular repeat flare ups.

Its a non issue. You likely got it from your parents as a kid (as most people do) and its only showing up now due to either changes in your environment or increased stress.

Now, it would be a huge problem if it infected your eye. That is no joke.

Any legal advice people in here?
I think you read too many hip hop gossip blogs. Thats the only place in mainstream society that’s freaking out over herpes. Hip hop gossip blogs are the only place I’ve ever heard of people contemplating lawsuits over a herpes diagnosis. I think that speaks to the overall maturity level that you’re dealing with in such information circles.

There’s no legal remedy to this medical problem. I suggest buying some bactene and using that on your affected areas. It has the same active ingredient as Abreva and its much cheaper.

If you’re super paranoid you can take Valtrex but really, that’s a lot of hastle to turn three or four days of cosmetic inconvenience into two or three days.

I seriously doubt you’re out here taking frequent herpes tests. Testing for herpes accurately, while asymptomatic, is nearly impossible and super expensive, which is why its a non-standard test.

The only thing a test can do is freak someone tf out and mess with them psychologically, as you’re experiencing.

My rule of thumb is if I can see it, or she mentions it, its best to pump the breaks.

Why?

Well, if lesions are present that means she’s viral shedding and contagious.

If she mentions that she has HSV it means her outbreaks are severe and regular. It doesn’t mean she’s “bad” but I’m not trying to navigate explosive herpes outbreaks with my partner. Just not my preference.

But yeah, freaking out about herpes is for morons. Like straight up boneheads.

let me guess YOU have herpes
If 80-90% of adults have it then yeah, probably. Have I had any symptoms? No. I have a strong immune system. I never caught covid either. Have I been exposed? Probably. Even if I caught one of the lesser forms my body can fight it off.

But yeah, I’ve never had sustained sexual contact with someone who has an HSV diagnosis. At least not to my knowledge so you got me beat there.
