Crew walking around with fanny packs. Bootleg theme songs. Lighting streaks. Music too low. Errors in graphics.
Dirty ring. Flimsy barricade. Cheap AutoZone fire decal on ring apron. Ref farting in the ring loudly. Shit stains
on the collectible souvenir chairs.

I was just never a fan of the way WCW produced their programming. It looked like shit and WWE/F was always the highest class.

Never understood how Black people can like shit that is blatantly marketed for people that hate Black people

Reason why I could never like wrestling or NFL football as a kid... Blatantly marketed for trailer trash hillbillies and they don't even try to mask it, niggas just want to be included in everything so bad

maybe they were catering to the fans they knew they had

if anything when they tried to copy WWF is when things went downhill because Vince always wanted to do things different than the king Ed McMahon

the prayers and vitamins era (70s-early 90s)

It made it feel more authentic, the idea that anyone competent would be involved in wrestling was unrealistic so of course the people they had doing the jobs would be bad at them.

I went to a Nitro in 1998 and there was a piss puddle on the floor. The scaffold fell down and pyro didn't go off at the right time.
Pathetic.

Also Hogan smelled like shit.
