@alternativeto I used my regular win10 installer without ethernet, created local admin and user accounts, and then triggered a win11 upgradeWorked like a charm a few weeks back Yes, it IS needlessly slow, but it's also worth a shot if everything else fails!You might get a periodic reminder to convert accounts to online, but that should be possible to disable (I just haven't bothered yet...)

@alternativeto Had the message on Friday, tried a hack (bypassnro) on Saturday and so far I'm still fine. If it pops up again my last remaining windows-pc will be switched to Linux too. It was the OS that was on it when I bought it and I was to lazy to install Linux right away.

@winet @alternativeto Previously, even if you removed the cable and WiFi adapter, it wouldn't allow you continuing setup unless you used one of the available tricks (like running "oobe\bypassnro" script). Now those options are gone. About the Rufus option, no idea if it will still work.

I hate this especially when I’m just creating virtual labs.
Just reminds me that I need to complete my Linux dual build. Windows 11 hasn't really been a problem with me. I blame DMC4:SE on the devs.
