I guess I could see either one. Pritzker would probably work harder and get more shit done, he's pretty efficient and I have a Midwestern bias. But Newsome is more palatable for the general public and will make more retarded right wingers seethe which would be funny but unfortunately would stoke the fire

Regardless of my skepticism of mainstream Democrats, I always hold out hope that they'll set a precedent for something more progressive in the future.

It doesn't make any sense until you realize TCM views everything through the lens of his support for Zionism and authoritarian attacks on minorities, immigrants and leftists. He considers these positions absolute red lines that any politician must adhere to, so any politician he judges as not passing his purity test becomes a victim of one of his obsessive smear fests.

He shoehorns those issues into every discussion because it's the true motivation behind his attacks. It's sounds like a non-sequitur to us, but for him all of those issues are lumped together as a singular "enemy." He won't admit it, of course, so he tries to veil his stances behind shit he makes up in the moment. He says, "Pritzker is fat," "lose for Israel," "crashout for immigrants," etc, but what he really thinks is, "I like the fascist crackdown Trump is bringing against the groups I don't like and Pritzker is opposing that, so I need to find a way to smear him." "I don't like the ever growing opposition to Israel and the genocide, so I need to pretend the opposition is unserious and unpopular." He's too dumb to finesse it in a more coherent way.

Just a reminder that this guy justified Trayvon's murder by bringing up "black on black violence" and had the nerve to post, "don't blacks kill each other all the time anyway." He has a long posting history of being a bigoted right wing zealot who likes to throw rocks and then hide his hands when it comes to his true motivations. This isn't some kind of calculated triangulation of what will build the Dem base or swing an election, these are just his deeply held beliefs. It's insane that a obvious white supremacist has been allowed in these spaces for so long.
