working class left wing populism = excellent. give out free money for having kids. try to do better healthcare

To be clear, you are on the other side of the polling for this issue. You may be unwilling to compromise on your Zionism in order to win elections, but the Dem base is not with you. Not even Jewish Americans are with you.

If Zionism is so personal to you that you can't accept the very real political risk of supporting Israel's genocide then you have no business speaking on "80/20 issues." Mind you, you're speaking on issues that American voters do not actually give a fuck about when it's time to go to into the booth, unlike this particular one.

It sounds like a number of people of the Democratic base have decided that it matters to them. You can't claim to be the party of moral clarity but support Israel. I think it's a problem when there are domestic issues that go unaddressed but we continue to support israel. I think it's an issue when Israel has been given permission by our elected officials to kill with impunity.

You claim you don't care about Israel or Palestine but never proposed, that I recall, a possible solution might involve not supporting Israel as they commit a genocide. Israel/Palestine aren't in the united states. But our tax dollars are being spent. We have California senators children running around with mossad shirts.

People having lines they aren't prepared to cross I think makes sense. Purity test being used as a pejorative by politicians (and their supporters) that think they're entitled to your votes no matter what never made sense

Please don't turn this into the coli thread where you're griping about random tweets and people and how they're going to damn thedemocratic party and all the other bullshit you were on over there.
