General Suggestions Thread

Not trying to spam but I would like to again recommend an animal subforum where we can post various interesting or funny animal videos, and can keep the DogSet/CatSet/AnimalSet posts there.

Even on the coli (and someone expressed it here I don't remember their name) some brehs have expressed they don't want it to spill over into other parts of the forum. I respect that, but it would be nice if we had a place of our own. It doesn't have to be immediate but just something to think on if the site continues to grow breh.

Will definitely consider that down the line. Right now not trying to do too many subforums but as traffic increases I have a running lists.

This can't be a hostile environment for women and should be more open and accepting. This should be a more mature place for discussion and less judgmental.

Other than that, I really don't have anything else to say. This place should be more inviting to Black folks from different walks of life who want to talk about things and stuff with other like minded types.

I didn't like the idea that The Coli excluded people and made them feel like they weren't accepted simply because they were into different things. More than ever, Black folks online need a safe space.
 
I don't know if it has been said already. I suggest that no registrations through VPN be accepted. Folks must register with an IP free of spam reports.

I know it's not feasible now brehs. But when JBO is created all NSFW content should go there, many of us work and I'd like to scroll the shop at work.

I don't want the shop to be JBO lite, we should have an section for it and it shouldn't be allowed outside of that. Especially if we want female users, that might as well be kryptonite for them.

I know weird niggas (aka fakkits) abhor women joining here, the site will be healthier if both men and women are welcome.
 
Don't be afraid or ashamed to run this place with some law and order @thaKEAF. Thecoli was fun for it's lawlessness back in the day, but we're in different times now, and there's now more places than not that are letting the inmates run the asylum on all sides of the spectrum. Find some pride in making this a safe place for level headed people to come together to congregate, build and crack some jokes outside of all the other bullshit ass places we have to exist in on a daily basis.
 
Could you make thread ratings visible on the main board instead of only being able to see them after entering? It used to be like than on the old version of the coli. I was nice being able to see if it was worth going into the thread beforehand.

Only thing we can do is make a quality forum and continue to pour energy and work into it. I posted the link in those discords and on the Coli when we thought everything was over and when it just came back up.

I haven’t been pushing hard since then because we gotta just do our thing. You can’t force anyone to do anything.

We are almost at 900 members in less than a week and that’s with no logo, not having a name until a few days ago, generic xenforo skin and no add ons :russ:

Whenever y'all have time. There should be a verified tag on users, if they have been verified in the designated thread.

If you want to go further, in the future you can make a verified black person tag if brehs or brehettes want to prove that they are black.
