Also have a mod/admin group chat here that's only available to other admins/mods to vote on whether or not to ban/temp ban members as if one admin has a particular hate for one member they may take advantage of their power. But a vote between mods would make it more fair.

Like sure there were trash ass posters that needed to go and I understand wanting to prevent future trash posters but we probably also missed out on some really dope posters that could’ve injected some life into the og forum

yeah, I say that so there isn't single points of failure +. an official discord back channel (too many splinter discords from members who left at various points but wanted to keep up with their circles).

I think Keep registration open for a while be there needs to be a new identify, so folks dont have to pay for the sins of what the other site has become.

More efficient to let mods bush and then have an appeal system vs them having to conflab every time.

This is what I was fucked up about the most. We can't lose that history, all the things that made thecoli great not only the fuckery but 6 figures 6 certs forum, higher learning, etc. Tangible things from that site that I'd really hate to lose and just be memories. I'd screenshot a lot of shit form time to time but damn to lose it all like that was what really had me like damn. This community is priceless.

I don't believe him either, but LB (WordofSouth) ghosted in similar fashion. That forum was dying anyway but that petite SoB tweeted some bs and everything vanished

Just gotta have a tight Mod team + Admins. Fundamentally gotta agree on if we gonna let this site "go there" on certain topics or nip it in the ass fast/have a shadow realm hidden like JBO for touchy stuff.
 
I wonder if Brook will pop back up and try and fix shit if enough people jump over. That shit still has to be easy passive income for him from all the ads when he really doesn't do shit but pay the hosting bill.

If it takes a mass exodus to do the most basic maintenance he has already given up fam. I really think some real shit happened whether legal or otherwise that caused him to step back and let it go, but I have no proof. I just can't see how someone can't take a few hours a year to make sure a seemingly easy money maker like that doesn't keep making money unless some real shit is happening.

Even nginx and the actual underlying forum software itself are old as shit relatively speaking.

I lurked the coli for a few years before joining. This was always my assumption of dude.


I remember when people were trying to do a thecoli podcast(before podcasts really blew up) and other things to drive traffic to the site but he refused to share any of the profits with anybody so it ultimately when nowhere.

When I think about posters like @lilbapegod and @sadbunny I kinda feel guilty about the part I played in @sirbiatch getting banned, was he really even that bad? He was just a Rocky stan who had strong opinions about music. I should let him know theres a second chance for people like him at thecoli rebirth. I'm tryna remember his YouTube channel.

I mean...I'm not gonna knock supacoli but, we at 500 members and counting over here and I already forgot I wasn't on thecorpse.com a couple times and its only been a day. I haven't peeped the other options but I'm seeing more and more familiar names here every hour. Good to see you over here breh, I'm hoping the rest of the Death Row thread guys and bomb1st refugees will make their way over here. I'll try to log back into 2f this week and holler at anybody who been waiting on oldcoli registration to open.
