Damn. The last ever Mobb Deep album. Looking forward to the project, media who have heard it all say it sounds hella cohesive.

First to let you know we livin in a soft era
Gunfiyah!!

Yo Alchemist brought his A game on track 2, I have always found his beats really hit or miss but this is a bullseye

The Clipse joint might actually be my least favorite track thus far, that said it's still dope.

The M the O the B the B
the D the E the E the P
Its Mobb Deep

Hav really cooked up some ill beats for this, track 5 sounds like what I imagine the Mobb Deep sound would resemble if they dropped the next album after Hell On Earth right away instead of so much time in between if that makes sense. Like if you told me this joint was a 97 unreleased cut I wouldn't question it. I had to run it back a second time, I'm a 3rd the way thru the album and its living up to the hype I built up in my head about it.

Down For You beat is some cinematic symphonic type shyt, Havoc deserves more props than he gets, top 5 NY producer of all time imo.

2nd Alchenist beat is a win.

yooooo.Mr. Magik is vintage P pen

Recycle you
take a deep breath inhale the stench
it ain't nuthin like the smell
of some well done revenge
The Infamous

The intro to Score Points had me worried for a minute but Alchemist just delivered 2 back to back soundbeds that P floats on, he makes an interesting shout out on My Era

Clear Black Nights is definitely the "who had the hardest verse" track, sometimes I forget how ill Havocs pen can be sometimes, I wish he had more solo material.

Even if the last 3 tracks are terrible this is still clearly the best of the legacy series so far and I'm calling it now De La and L albums wont hold a candle to this.

Mr Magik is the stand out
Yeah Prodigy had his pen working overtime on that opening , the back n forth between him and Hav is dope too, I'm assuming that was a Prodigy solo and Hav rhymed some of Ps lyrics after the fact.

Did Havoc talk about the idea behind making Down For You 2 parts in any of these recent interviews?

I like Discontinued better on second listen, We The Real Thing as well, my one critique would be that tho, I wouldn't have chosen that as the album closer

Can't believe how much this exceeded expectations. Incredible album. Definitely up there with the best of the year so far. I think I still have Alfredo 2 ahead of this, but it's gotta be close. It sounds like there's a lot of replay value here.

I was expecting and okay with P doing his usual post-Murda Muzik slow flow style, but he actually blacked the fuck out on Easy Bruh. :whoo:Did not expect that. He was flowing on there. Havoc has always been nice and never fell off, but he really went off on here. Features killed. Everything fell into place.

Really hoping Havoc carries on the momentum and keeps the production going. The beats on here are way better than I remember the Style P album sounding. Or maybe I need to revisit that one, idk. Been waiting for that Method Man album for years, it's a perfect time to finally finish it.

They really pulled it off :banderas:
Legendary group.

Huge Mobb Fan who went in with super low expectations because I felt like Pee fell off after HNIC 1, and skill wasn’t the same but still serviceable on Return of the Mac

But I breathed such a sigh of relief hearing Pee actually rhyming words again. This is such a fucking solid album.

Easily the best album on Mass Appeal so far. I’m liking it more than the Clips album but that’s also cause I feel like society deemed that album of the year so early on….it ruined it for me. Not on some hipster shit but…..people glaze that shit.

Saving a good long listen for a drive tonight, but I did listen to Pour The Henny. Between that and Against The World, I think I will be digging this. Pour The Henny is both vintage Mobb AND 2025 Mobb, so they hit it right on target in my opinion.

This shit is ill. Easily one of my favorite albums in recent memory. I knew Hav and ALC would take this seriously and make sure it was as best as it could be. They delivered. I know people are miserable so they always want to find something to nitpick or bitch about, but this is a fuckin great Mobb album in 2025. Only a herb would complain about anything on this.

This all unreleased Prodigy material?
Nah….you could find these verses on other songs obscure prodigy solo songs but like only the hard core of the hard core know about them so to the majority this is brand new.

I wonder if Hav has all those original vocals to the unreleased stuff from Mobb’s prime

Perfect Plot

Young Luv

Thugged Out
Thrill Me
Feel my Gat Blow (not 100% if that was released retail)

Maybe they didn’t clear for sample reasons but maybe idk remix them and release them.

Flames, whole album is fucking flames

Think this might be their 4th best album ever after The infamous HOE and MM

RIP P, that Pour the Henny track brought a tear in my eye fo real

Might be biased since im a Mobb fan and in my eyes this been the case, but yea this solidifies them as the best duo ever by a margin

Huge props to Alc too, humble dude, humble legend. Seen all the interviews for the roll out and he just been praising Mobb and Hav, and you can see he really feels like that and he means it

This album is crazy. I’m the type that really likes albums. I want to let that shit rock for weeks/months. That’s how I always did it with my Walkman or Box back in the days, because that’s when you really appreciate the shit as a whole and start to like songs that didn’t jump out instantly. Also tapes were annoying to fast forward so you’d just let the shit rock out. You remember to appreciate shit differently.
