Well aware and not disputing that, also not denying his blackness just stating his ethnic makeup and my point about him being considered Jamaican is simply to highlight that in Jamaica he wouldn't be met with the "not black enough" criticisms he receives stateside

Toronto has always used Jamaican slang. But Drake didn't use it until later on his career as an adult.

If anything my point is that Sean Paul was more engrained in the Toronto Caribbean music scene than Drake ever was. You can also pull up videos of Drake with his white and Jewish friends remarking how "stupid" the slang and dialect is, Drake is an opportunistic poser.
