I think I used perplexity maybe once or twice but I mainly use Google's AI Mode then I'll switch to ChatGPT and Gemini for anything advanced.

AI changed the way I search the internet. In the past I'd hop on google then read multiple pages trying to find the info I need. Now I just ask AI and does it all for me in like 30 seconds

it’s kinda like a search engine/AI. So I think it’s a little bit more than just a pure AI. It’s more like search engine that powered 100% by AI.

I use it everyday and up until about 2-3 month ago I was using perplixity labs for free specifically their fine-tuned Llama-3.3-70B model called sonar-pro, it's different and they provide sources in their responses. serves me well for quick lookups.
